Buyer-side independence
We work only within documented authority. Actual, potential or perceived conflicts are identified, disclosed and appropriately managed before related work proceeds. Undisclosed supplier commissions, referral fees or incentives that compromise independent judgment are not accepted.
Anti-bribery
We do not offer, promise, request, accept or facilitate bribes, kickbacks, secret commissions, facilitation payments or anything intended to improperly influence a decision. Any modest and legitimate hospitality must be lawful, proportionate, transparent and consistent with the client’s policy.
Supplier screening and sanctions
Screening is proportionate to the mandate and risk and may include legal identity, ownership, registration, capability, adverse information, conflicts and applicable Qatar, United Nations or other relevant sanctions checks. Screening reflects information available at the time and is not a guarantee of future conduct or performance.
Fair and documented sourcing
Supplier evaluation uses defined, relevant and objective criteria. Axiom does not participate in bid manipulation, collusion, falsification or concealment of material evaluation information. Key recommendations, approvals and decisions should leave an appropriate audit trail.
Confidentiality
Client and supplier confidential information is used only for its authorized purpose, shared on a need-to-know basis and protected with proportionate safeguards. Return, retention and deletion requirements are agreed in the mandate.
Controlled authority
Axiom provides analysis and recommendations within the written mandate. No supplier commitment, purchase order, contract award or representation is made for a client without explicit written authority.
